Dr. Yong J. Cho graduated with a degree in Computational Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and pursued his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 4-year residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.

He is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery and Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Cho strives for perfection in his profession and has acquired a variety of clinical and surgical skills for foot and ankle problems. His experiences include fractures, sprains, flatfoot, bunions, hammertoes, Charcot foot and other foot and ankle deformities, achilles tendon issues, heel pain, ingrown nails, diabetic foot, and wound care.

Dr. Cho believes that the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership and that compassion and increased knowledge are critical components in treating his patients. He encourages his patients to be thoroughly involved and aware of the best treatment plan possible. His goals for his patients are to get them back to doing what they love as soon as possible with confidence and long-term success.

Dr. Cho is excited to join TD Podiatry and looks forward to providing New York City with the highest level of quality care while putting its best foot forward!
